The Room

A stone roadhouse
on the 66 strip

Guitars has been the place where Joplin comes to two-step since long before anybody thought to put it on the internet. Stone walls, a low ceiling, a neon sign out front you can spot from the highway, and a dance floor that fills up the second the band kicks in. There are also a couple pool tables too.

Come for the music. Stay because somebody taught you the steps, the beer is cold, and the patio is quieter than the room.

Country, rock, red dirt, southern rock and Dance Hip Hop DJ and occasional live shows on the stage. Weekends are loud, and that is the whole point.

Line Dance Lessons

Friday nights, 7 to 8pm. Free before 8, five bucks after. No partner required, boots optional.

The Patio

String lights, picnic tables and a cold one between dances. Step outside when the room gets too hot.

Full Bar

Whiskey, drafts and the usual suspects, poured until 1:30 in the morning. 21 and over, always.

Learn the steps
before the band

Line and couples dancing from 7 to 8pm every Friday. Beginners are the whole point. Show up in whatever you can slide across a wood floor in, and you will leave knowing at least one dance.
